Yet, the harsh truth is undeniable: AI is here to stay.

To succeed, students must master three crucial skill sets that go beyond traditional ESL:
Asking the Right Questions As the saying goes, “You don’t know what you don’t know.” If a student lacks the English proficiency to prompt a Large Language Model (LLM) correctly, they cannot extract accurate results.
Articulating with Precision Students must be able to express their thoughts with absolute clarity to direct AI tools efficiently and get satisfying, useful outputs.
Critical Defense Deep language comprehension is the foundation of critical thinking, allowing students to identify AI “hallucinations” (fabricated responses) and counteract algorithmic bias.
